Linvoy Primus played professional football for 16 years including nine years for Portsmouth where he became a cult hero. Following his retirement due to a knee injury, they subsequently named a stand at Fratton Park after him for his services to the club. He began his career as a young professional at Charlton Athletic before moving to play for Barnet and Reading before ending up on the south coast.

In a wide ranging conversation with Graham Daniels, he talks about the uncertainty he felt as he started out his career before dwelling on the fear that plagues you as a professional footballer as well as the isolation and loneliness they can feel. Finally he talks about how his Christian faith impacted how he looked at his career and how it affected the way he played.
