Pray for the Bradford Leeds local network gathering this evening and the Aylesbury and Swansea gatherings tomorrow evening. Pray these gatherings would encourage Christian sportspeople as they gather to pray and look to reach local amateur sportspeople with the good news of Jesus.

Partners
As the ‘Change the Game’ fundraising campaign finished last Friday, give thanks for God’s provision of partners who support the work financially. Pray that God would continue to guide Christians in Sport in raising and spending money to serve the work of reaching the world of sport for Christ.

University Evangelistic Events
Pray for evangelistic sports tournaments and quizzes taking place this week across UK universities including Edinburgh Napier, Glasgow, Oxford, Bristol, Surrey and Exeter. Pray for boldness for students as they invite their friends to enjoy these events and hear the good news of Jesus.

Parents & guardians of Young Performance Athletes (YPAs)
Pray for the group of YPA parents & guardians that meet monthly online to discuss sport and faith, share their experiences of the world of elite sport and pray. Pray these gatherings continue to be a huge encouragement for those who join.
Thursday, 21st November
Professional rugby
Give thanks for Christian elite rugby players we know and support through regular 1-2-1s and online group Bible studies. Pray that God would raise up more players within the world of professional rugby and that we’d be able to connect with and support them.
Friday, 22nd November
The Sports Quiz
Pray for the Sports Quiz hosted tonight at Christ Church Surbiton Hill with Ian Lancaster sharing a short talk on the good news of Jesus. Pray for boldness for those inviting guests to the quiz and for continued opportunities to share Jesus after the event.
Saturday, 23rd November
International Mentor Development Programme
Pray for leaders in sports ministry from across Europe who are participating in the 2024 Mentor Development programme. Pray that they can apply what learning from the course to their context of sport and be encouraged as they build relationships with peers on the course.
