Sunday, 5th July
Mission Resources
Pray that God would use resources produced by Christians in Sport, including the Sports Mission Pack and a short tract published by 10ofThose, to enable and support mission to sportspeople across the UK during the FIFA World Cup.
Monday, 6th July
North West England School Mission
Pray for the opportunity for staff and interns to run a number of sports sessions, tournaments and workshops this week in St Christopher’s in Accrington; and St Francis of Assisi and St Hilda's in Liverpool. Pray that these opportunities enable many young people to connect their passion for sport with faith in Jesus.
Tuesday, 7th July
Sports Plus
Pray ahead of the summer of Sports Plus, where over 1,000 young people will attend across 10 camps. Pray for young people coming to Sports Plus who don’t yet trust in Jesus. Pray that their eyes would be opened to understand who Jesus is and trust in what He came to do for them.
Wednesday, 8th July
Sports Plus
Pray that all of the practical elements within the Morning and Evening Meetings, including music, videos, games and hosting, would combine effectively to create an atmosphere in which God is glorified.
Thursday, 9th July
National Radio
Give thanks to God for the opportunity for Graham Daniels to speak on BBC Radio 2’s ‘Pause for Thought’ this morning and the upcoming opportunity to host BBC Radio 4’s Sunday Worship programme on the 19th July. Pray that these opportunities enable many to hear and consider the good news of Jesus for themselves.
Friday, 10th July
Elite Tennis
Pray for Christians involved in elite tennis as Wimbledon finals are played over the weekend. Pray that God would raise up more Christians within elite tennis, and that Christian players would know their identity is secure in Christ however they perform at The Championships.
Saturday, 11th July
Give thanks to God for the generosity that has enabled any new or increased regular giving to Christians in Sport to be matched this year. Pray that all of the available matched funding can be drawn down this year, and that this enables fruit in the mission of reaching sportspeople for Christ.

2026 is special for Christians in Sport; on Wednesday, 18th February, we marked fifty years since a small group met with the conviction that God cared deeply about sport, and that He would act in the world of sport if they prayed.
