Local Network Gatherings
Pray for the local network prayer gatherings in Ayrshire, Blackburn and Inverness tomorrow evening. Pray they would be encouraging as Christian sportspeople gather to pray and encourage each other in worship and witness to the good news of Jesus within their sports teams.

Stirling Mission Week
This week Christians in Sport are supporting Stirling University Christian Union’s mission week. Pray for Josh Strike as he speaks at each evening event, and that Christian students would be bold in inviting friends to events.
Tuesday, 10th February
Hills Road College Youth Event
Give thanks for the opportunity for Graham Daniels to speak at Hill’s Road Sixth Form College Christian Union this evening. Pray that members of the Christian Union would be bold in inviting friends to come and hear the good news of Jesus.
Wednesday, 11th February
Oxford University Dodgeball Tournament
Give thanks for the dodgeball tournament held at Oxford University yesterday. Pray the tournament would enable student sportspeople to engage with the good news of Jesus and continue exploring faith with Christian friends who invited them.
Thursday, 12th February
50 Year Celebration
On Wednesday, 18th February, Christians in Sport are celebrating 50 years since a small group met to pray that God would work in sport - leading to the movement of Christians in Sport being birthed. Pray that the release of a short film and prayer points marking the anniversary would encourage many to give thanks for God’s work in the world of sport, and continue praying for the work of reaching the world of sport for Christ.
Friday, 13th February
Stirling Mission Week
Continue to pray for staff members supporting Stirling University Christian Union’s mission week as it finishes today. Pray that Christian students would continue sharing their faith boldly including inviting friends to church or to read the Bible after attending events.
Saturday, 14th February
Elite Athletics
Pray for elite track and field athletes competing in the UK Athletics Indoor Championships this weekend. Give thanks for Christian athletes we know and support through a regular group Bible study and 1-2-1s. Pray that they would know their identity is in Christ as they face the pressure to perform.
