Sunday, 7th June
Stockholm Diamond League
Give thanks for the opportunity we have to support a number of Christian elite track and field athletes through online and in person Bible studies and 1-2-1s. Pray for those competing at the Stockholm Diamond League meeting today, that they would know they are loved unconditionally by God however they perform.
Monday, 8th June
Bath Partner Evening
Give thanks for the opportunity to host ten evenings in churches around the UK to celebrate 50 years of God's faithfulness in sport, share vision for the future, and grow partnership with Christian in Sport to enable the next season. Pray that all who attend the final Partner Evening tonight in Bath would be encouraged
Tuesday, 9th June
BBC Radio Wales
Give thanks for the opportunity Lloyd Thomas had to share a reflection on sport and Christian faith on the ‘Thought for the Week’ on BBC Radio Wales yesterday. Pray that regular opportunities to speak like this on national radio enable many to hear the good news of Jesus.
Wednesday, 10th June
Summer Prayer Gatherings
Praise God for the opportunity for sportspeople to meet online on Monday, 22nd June to pray for Sports Plus, ahead of the summer. Pray that the gatherings would encourage Christian sportspeople as they join the call and pray for God to work across the ten summer camps planned.
Thursday, 11th June
As around 1,000 young people attend Sport Plus this summer. Pray that the eyes of those who don’t yet trust Jesus would be opened to their need of him, and that those who are Christians would grow and leave Sports Plus better equipped to represent Jesus in their sport.
Friday, 12th June
Pray for students at Warwick University hosting a meal for their teammates this evening, including a short gospel presentation and time for discussion. Pray that guests would enjoy the evening and be encouraged to continue investigating the good news of Jesus afterwards.
Saturday, 13th June
Mission Resources
Pray that God would use resources produced by Christians in Sport, including the Sports Mission Pack and a short tract published by 10ofThose, would enable and support mission to sportspeople across the UK during the FIFA World Cup.

2026 is special for Christians in Sport; on Wednesday, 18th February, we marked fifty years since a small group met with the conviction that God cared deeply about sport, and that He would act in the world of sport if they prayed.
