Local Network Gatherings
Pray for the Gogledd Gorllewin Cymru (North West Wales) and High Wycombe network prayer gatherings tomorrow evening. Pray that both of these gatherings would encourage Christian sportspeople as they gather to pray and look to reach local sportspeople with the good news of Jesus.
Monday, 24th March
Elite Tennis
Pray for the small number of professional tennis players that we know and support. In the middle of a busy season, pray for health and strength and a deepening knowledge of who they are in Christ. Please ask the Lord to bring more players on the world tour to know Him.
Tuesday, 25th March
Students
Pray for Christians in Sport university groups as they meet weekly throughout the academic year. Pray that these meetings would encourage students to stand tall in their sports teams, sharing Jesus with other students where there is opportunity.
Wednesday, 26th March
Belfast Network Gathering
Pray for the Belfast local network gathering this evening. Pray that attendees would be encouraged as they gather to pray and together look to reach local sportspeople with the good news of Jesus through personal witness and inviting to guest events.
Thursday, 27th March
Staff Day
Pray as Christians in Sport staff meet together as a whole staff team today. Pray it would be an encouraging time together reflecting on the last few months and looking forward to the year ahead.
Friday, 28th March
Partners
Praise God for those who support the work of Christians in Sport through prayer. Pray that partners will continue to support Christians in Sport through prayer and be encouraged as they hear of the gospel bearing fruit in the world of sport.
Saturday, 29th March
The Reach Project
Pray for the ‘Reach’ projects taking place in areas of need across the UK which seek to engage young sportspeople with the good news of Jesus. Pray that God would continue to grow these projects and bear much fruit in the world of sports through them.
