As the London Marathon takes place today, pray for Christians involved in the world of competitive amateur and elite running. Pray that God would raise up more people to live and speak for Him within running.

London Partner Evening
Give thanks for the opportunity to host ten evenings in churches around the UK to celebrate 50 years of God's faithfulness in sport, share vision for the future, and grow partnership with Christian in Sport to enable the next season. Pray that tonight’s London Partner Evening at All Souls Church encourages those who attend.
Tuesday, 28th April
Elite Cricket
Give thanks for the small number of Christian players we know and support within top level cricket. Pray that God would raise up more Christians within elite cricket and that we’d be able to connect with and support them to live and speak for Jesus.

Blackburn Local Network Prayer Gathering
Pray for the Blackburn local network training evening tonight. Pray that the gathering would encourage Christian sportspeople in their witness as they spend time praying and together looking to reach local sportspeople with the good news of Jesus.

Edinburgh & Glasgow Partner Evenings

Pray that Partner Evenings tonight at Chalmers Church, Edinburgh, and tomorrow night at Christ Church, Glasgow, encourage all who attend.

Women’s Elite Football
Give thanks for the opportunity to connect regularly with women playing across the top four tiers of women’s football in England, to pray and read the Bible together. Pray for opportunities to connect with and support more women in elite football in this way.
Saturday, 2nd May
Elite athletics
Give thanks for Christian track and field athletes we know and support through regular group Bible studies and 1-2-1s. Pray they would know their identity is secure in Christ as many prepare for major events including the Diamond League, European Championships and Commonwealth Games.
