Digital Resources
Pray that God would use digital resources published on The Academy and shared on social media to encourage and equip Christian sportspeople. Pray that God would continue to guide us as we seek to develop engaging and encouraging digital resources.
Monday, 31st August
Graduates
Pray for graduates who were involved in CIS university groups as many move to new towns and cities to begin working. Pray that they’ll find good local churches and continue to witness for Christ in sport as many look to join new clubs and teams.
Tuesday, 1st September
Local Networks
Thank God for the current Network Leaders, for their hard work, diligence and faithfulness to the task in coordinating network gatherings and guest events. Pray that God would continue to sustain Local Networks in towns and cities across the UK in the mission of reaching sportspeople with the good news of Jesus.
Wednesday, 2nd September
Students
Pray for students who will be starting university this month. Pray for Christians in Sport student groups to be able to find and connect with new Christian students, and that the groups would be effective in equipping and encouraging students to live and speak for Jesus in university sport.

Brussels Diamond League
Give thanks for the opportunity we have to support a number of Christian elite track and field athletes through regular Bible studies and 1-2-1s. Pray for those who competing at the Brussels Diamond League tomorrow, that they would know that their identity is secure in Christ, and not based on their performance.

2026 is special for Christians in Sport; on Wednesday, 18th February, we marked fifty years since a small group met with the conviction that God cared deeply about sport, and that He would act in the world of sport if they prayed.
