Our one year internship programme could be for you.
Overview
A 12-month Internship programme; a flexible offer for young adults (early - mid 20s) who have been identified as potential leaders for the future.
We are excited to offer a range of options for the Internship based on location and /or the time you have available to attend the various aspects of the programme. In your application please tell us what would work best for you however, do note, this is at the discretion of Christians in Sport.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for young adults (early 20s) who have a passion for evangelism and experience of delivering and leading in aspects of reaching sportspeople with the gospel.
How much does it cost?
The internship is an unpaid position with the option for accommodation provided free of charge for Interns placed centrally (Oxfordshire). Interns who are not based in the CiS accommodation in Oxfordshire will need to cover their own accommodation costs. Training course costs and expenses will be paid for by CIS.
Where will interns be based?
Christians in Sport will offer a limited number of centrally based Internship spaces in Oxfordshire. Interns can also be recruited from locations that allow for regular travel to one of our regional staff locations (Edinburgh, London, Belfast, South Wales).

Sept 2026 – August 2027
Application process:
Prospective Interns can apply through our online form. The second stage of the application process will be an interview with Christians in Sport staff, with references from your church being taken as well.
Deadline for applications is
10am on Monday 26th January 2026.
Interviews will take place w/c 9th Feb.
