Christians in Sport are seeking an experienced person to focus on and develop our work with women involved in the world of sport.

Purpose of the role

To assist in achieving the mission of ‘Reaching the world of sport for Christ’ through focusing on and developing our work with women involved in the world of sport.

The role will seek to deliver the following overarching aims with a specific focus on women.

1. To take the good news of Jesus to sportspeople (including youth, students and adults) involved in competitive & elite sport.
2. To help sportspeople connect the Christian faith and sport.
3. To help sportspeople grow in confidence to live as a Christian in their sport.
4. To help sportspeople have more confidence to share the Christian faith within their sport.

Appointment

This position may have direct reports, with a salary package appropriate to the experience of the successful applicant.

Christians in Sport has its Head Office in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Whilst the successful applicant will ideally be able to travel into the office regularly there is flexibility around home and flexible working.

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. Some evening and weekend work may be required. There are 25 days annual leave, plus statutory holidays.
