Roles

Over 400 Coaches, Team Leaders, Support Staff and Medical Staff are needed to enable Sports Plus to happen. Leaders must first and foremost have a passion to follow Jesus and be willing to serve God, the gospel, the young people and each other in one of these roles.

Age

Leaders must be 18 years old to serve at Sports Plus. However those who have just finished their final year of school or young leaders serving for the first time should apply for the Trainee Programme or Development Squad.

Safeguarding

Christians in Sport take seriously their responsibility for the young people in their care. All leaders will be required to undergo an enhanced level Criminal Records Check and attend a compulsory safeguarding session before joining the team. All Sports Plus leaders must agree with the Christians in Sport Statement of Faith.

Cost

Sports Plus costs £170 for leaders with a reduced rate of £100 available for those who wish to access the Bursary Fund. We never want finance to be a barrier to you serving at Sports Plus so if cost is an issue please get in touch using the details below.
